Memory:  This is the day that the Lord has made.  Let us rejoice and be glad in it.   Psalm  118:24.

We are finished with the words in our spelling book.  If you see it come home, it can stay.  There are pages that could be worked on and completed in the summer.

Spelling: one, two , three, four, five, six , seven, eight , nine , ten *numbers *count

Tomorrow, Tuesday, is our Manners field trip at Duncan Hall. The cost for each child is 1.50.We will be gone 8:42-11:20.

Next week, 15th is a special trip..waiting for confirmation (no cost).  On the 16 we will go to the Purdue Dairy.  The cost will be 1.50  ( we give Caleb Ply a token thank you for your time and  take Mr. Grott and his workers morning donuts to say "thank you.")8:00-10:30.

Mother's Day is coming up.  You can help by sending in a gift bag.  Thank you.

At the end of the year, there are several people that we need to acknowledge and say thank you to. Several people that have served us all year in some way. Usually, with a note and a $5.00 Culver's card.  If you could have your child bring in $5.00 for this, I would appreciate it.

Walk to the Pedestrian Bridge and Silver Dipper on May 19. We will leave about 10:30 and then eat on the bridge and then walk over to Silver Dipper (No cost).

Ok, then, with several compromises made by the Isom family we will join the 2nd graders in singing for Mrs. Dietel's open house.  Thank you Lisa and Sami Isom for your willingness to be flexible.

Have a blessing filled, Christ filled Week!  Miss Roland
