St. James Lutheran Child Care is a program designed for children 3-12 years old. We believe children are a unique gift from God. We provide a warm and loving Christ-centered environment with planned activities appropriate to children and their developmental stages. Each child is allowed to develop to his/her fullest potential spiritually, socially, physically, creatively, intellectually, and emotionally.

• We take kids starting at 6 weeks-3 years in our Infant/Toddler room

Registration

To register your child, please call the director, Julie Grott at 423-1616. Appointments can be made for registration and a tour of the facilities.

St. James Lutheran Child Care admits children of any race, color, or national or ethnic origin.

Hours of Operation

• Days of operation are the same as the school calendar

Discipline Policy

Christ-pleasing behavior is expected from the children and staff. Expectations and consequences are posted in the rooms and will be discussed with the children. If the children behave in a disruptive manner, we will follow the consequences listed: warning, time-out, extended time-out, meeting with principal and director. If disruptive behavior continues the child will be expelled from the program. We will use positive reinforcement and avoid negative consequences whenever possible.
