Dear Mom,
Every Mother Of PreSchooler (MOPS)
comes to a point in her life where she feels overwhelmed and underequipped to
meet the demands of motherhood.
We’re here to help. St. James’ MOPS exists to support, nurture, encourage, and equip mothers of young children for their vocation of motherhood by meeting their distinct needs to the glory of Jesus Christ, and the benefit of our neighbor.
Come and share the burden with women who have been there, are there, and will be there soon. Be an inspiration for a mom who feels hopeless. Have a cup of coffee and take a moment to renew your spirit in a quiet, yes we said quiet, environment. Take a deep breath, and breathe in the goodness of God’s grace to you.
St. James’ Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) invites you to join us in the pursuit of being the best mothers we can! We exists to support, nurture, encourage, and equip mothers of young children for their vocation of motherhood by meeting their distinct needs to the glory of Jesus Christ and the benefit of our neighbor. Our MOPS group celebrates all our differences and provides a caring, accepting atmosphere for growing as mothers and women.
Our meetings consist of a craft, brunch, speakers, and small group discussion time. During these times you will have the opportunity to share concerns, explore your creative side, and hear new perspectives on parenting, and other issues relevant to your life. We understand, and we’re here for you.
All mothers with children ages birth through kindergarten are welcome. The program runs from August through May. We meet on the second and fourth Fridays of the month from 8:45 am to 11:00 am. Quality childcare is provided in our daycare facility. We do have a limited number of spaces in the daycare (MOPPETS) program so pre-registration is advised.
Registration is $75 by August 1st, and $85 after. If you prefer to pay by semester the registration costs are $50 for the first semester and $35 for the second. $20 of your registration fee goes to MOPS International for the MOPS to Moms Connection. This benefit provides you with a membership packet, mothering emails, and a 1 year subscription to MomSense Magazine.

The theme for this year's MOPs program is, "The
HOME Factor". During this year, we will
explore The Home. We will visit different areas of a house with theme
related topics that
will relate to our lives as women, mothers, wives, homemakers and daughters of
the King.
It is our hope that you will join us in our "home" as we begin with the front
door and end
up in the backyard of the world and amazing opportunities!
