Welcome from the Principal

Hello!
Grace, Mercy, and Peace be unto you from God our Father, and our Risen Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.” 3 John 1: 4

As a father of two boys and Principal of St. James Lutheran School, I do not think a parent can wish for anything greater than what the above Bible scripture states.  Walking in the truth as it pertains to knowing and understanding the physical world around us, and also recognizing Christ as our Lord and Savior, are both truths that we strive to reveal to each student here at St. James. Jesus in our Learning. Jesus in our Living.

I welcome you to peruse our website, and whether you dropped in by coincidence or you’re looking for a caring school family, to come by and take a tour of our school. Our teachers are eager to encourage, enlighten, and captivate the educational minds of each student and to enrich their knowledge and understanding of our world, our country, and our surrounding community. We strive to provide a safe and loving environment for your child to grow and learn. “Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from  it.”  (Proverbs 22:6)

If you are already a part of our school family, I invite you to stop by the office just to say “hello”. I’m always available for a good clean joke or a sincere compliment about our school or our faculty and staff.

“How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are!”   1 John 3:1

God's Blessings,
R. Jacob Rogers, Principal
St. James Lutheran School
