At St. James Lutheran Church and School, we offer
Confirmation Classes for 7th and 8th Grade Students. Confirmation
is a two year period of intensive instruction into key Biblical truths as
understood by the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod. Along with teachings
from Scripture and Luther's
Small Catechism, Confirmands have the opportunity to actively participate in
a variety of Christian activities and discipleship.
For those attending St. James school, Confirmation
instruction is included in the 7th and 8th Grade Religion instruction. For
those 7th and 8th Grade students attending other area schools or alternate forms
of education, we offer Confirmation instruction on Saturday mornings from 9:00
AM to 11:00 AM.
Confirmation Classes are taught by Pastor Frenchand DCEs
(Director of Christian Education) David
& Jennifer Probst.
Confirmation instruction is overseen by the Board of
Lay Ministry and is supported in prayer by the Lutheran
Women in Mission. If you would like more information on Confirmation
