~Merry Christmas Pre-K Parents!
Can you believe it? Christmas is right around the corner and there are still so many things left to do. This will definitely be a busy week for our Pre-Kindergarten Class. Here is what the week will look like:
Theme: Sheep & Wool
Bible Story: The Angels visited the Shepherds
Zoo phonics: NO LETTER this week. Instead, I would like the kids to focus in on gifts to give to “the baby”. We are looking for donations of cloth, buttons, yarn, and other things necessary to make blankets and clothes for infants. This gift can be brought into the classroom at any time, or your child can present it at the manger at our Happy Birthday Jesus Party.
Math: Counting ornaments
Science: I’m not sure we will get to science this week, but I am hoping to sneak a small lesson in.
Thursday will be our class Christmas party. Don’t forget to sign up for a treat to bring in on the Perfect Potluck email link. Some other out of class time activities to consider for this week are:
Wednesday: Advent Dinner & Upper Grades Christmas Program
Friday: Birthday Party for Jesus
With all the busyness that the season brings, I pray that you have a wonderful Christmas and a Blessed New Year!
In Christ’s Service,
