Our first St. James Lutheran School book fair at Barnes & Noble, next to the Tippecanoe Mall, will be held on Saturday, May 10th from 9:00 am - 11:00 pm. Make your selection from any books in stock, CD's, DVD's, gift items, magazines, cafe gift items and a percentage of the proceeds will benefit the St. James Lutheran School Library. All you need to do is pick up a voucher from the Scripp counter, where you can purchase Barnes & Noble Scripp, the information center, each student from St. James, and available in our announcements. You must have a voucher when you purchase your items are we will not be credited the percentage.

Our students will have some of their artwork on display for your perusal.

This Saturday, May 10th, is the day before Mother's Day and what wonderful day to celebrate Mom's with a gift from Barnes & Noble. Highlight this day on your calendar and we'll see you there

 

         SUMMER READING with ANDREW CLEMENTS T BARNES & NOBLE

Students in grades K-6 can earn free books in the Barnes & Noble Summer Reading Program by reading eight books and completing a reading journal activity sheet (available at any store.) When students return the completed journal, they can pick a free book from a list of popular titles. This program runs from May through September 2nd. Summer Reading sheets will be sent home with each student at the end of April.

            He was sent to steal a play from Shakespeare himself!

Kudos to Mrs. Maassen who after two years of Library volunteering has put the entire St. James School Library on computer!!!! According to Mrs. Maassen, we have close to 6,000 volumes in our library!!!!
