Welcome to the Last Week of School Pre-K Parents!
My mind is just spinning.  This school year has gone by really fast.  I cannot thank you enough for entrusting the education of your child to me over the course of the last year!  I am so proud of the growth that I have seen in your child from the first day of school till now.  The students have also been great teachers.  They have shown me how they learn best and how I can be challenged to be a better teacher to them.  This has been an extraordinary year.
This week will be filled with lots of fun activities, but it still holds on to teachable moments.  Here is what we have in mind for the week:

Theme: End of Year/Summer
Bible Lessons: Ascension

Monday: Normal day of school
Tuesday: Pajama, stuffed animal, and movie day
Wednesday: Summer Birthday Celebration (bring in a special treat if your child has a summer birthday)
Show & Tell Day (1 item that fits into the bucket)
Thursday: Last Day of School (Special Schedule)
11:00 - Ride bikes on upper parking lot & play on large playground
11:45 - Lunch (sign up on Perfect Potluck)
12:30 - Closing Ceremonies in the Sanctuary
1:00 - Class Dismissed for the summer

Do not forget to turn in library books, clean off/return buckets, and turn in the final reading log.  There will be quite a few take home items on Thursday.  It is my prayer that you have an incredible summer!  Please make sure to keep in touch!
Blessings,
Mrs. Probst

Cooking with Mrs. Caylor
Frosted Lemonade
3 lemons, juiced
1 cup of ice
¼ cup of water
2 cups vanilla frozen yogurt
Pour lemon juice and ice in a blender.  Blend until ice is completely crushed, adding a little water at a time to make it blend smoothly.  Add the frozen yogurt and blend again.  Add more water if mixture is too thick.  Pour into glasses & serve.
