Welcome to the PTL

The P.T.L. (Parent Teacher League) was organized to help the parents and teachers cooperate in the Christian training of the child.  The PTL promotes educational programs and works to foster a close relationship between school and home.  The PTL coordinates the following family activities:

• Education Sunday
• Family Fun and Teacher Appreciation Night
• Golf for Greens
• Father-Daughter Dance
• Mother-Son Date Night
• Christmas Shoppe
• Teacher Appreciation Luncheons
• Spring Carnival.  

They also promote service projects, and sponsor and help to maintain the school hot lunch program, and extracurricular activities.

The PTL meets during the following months:

• September
• November
• January
• March
• May.

The PTL board invites all parents to attend PTL meetings. We encourage you to be informed and involved in your children’s education. Learn what we and you can do for our school. New ideas are always welcome and appreciated. Please contact anyone on the board or any teacher to see how you can help make St. James Lutheran School the best we can be. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns.
