SUNDAY

CHRISTIAN WITNESS:  Attention all eighth-graders! It’s time to begin the process of building your Christian Witnesses.  All Eighth Grade Confirmands will have the opportunity to choose the topic for his or her Christian Witness.

All Eighth Grade students and their parents are expected to be in attendance.  If you have any questions or conflicts, please contact Pastor French.

Gottesdienst:  You may have seen it in the Newsletter or in another publication.  The buzz is starting to get louder and louder as our Church body anticipates the release of the 2006 Hymnal called “The Lutheran Service Book” (LSB).  So, what’s the big deal?  What impact does it really have on our lives?  Better yet…what impact will it have on our Worship Life?

Everyone is invited to join Pastor Salemink in the Cafeteria.  He will be going over Lutheran Worship, the New Hymnal (Lutheran Service Book) and other interesting facts that you never heard before.

DAUGHTERS OF EVE: Throughout Scripture, God gives us incredible examples of how he works in the lives of His children.  We invite you to join us as we explore the lessons learned by various women in the Bible and how we can apply that to our lives today.  Helen Sunkel leads this class in the Library, located downstairs from the Cafeteria.  Please come this Sunday and bring a friend!

PARENTS AND TWOS: Join Eric and Carole Hahm as they continue with another year of Parents and Twos and learn more about how to teach your 2 year old about the basics of Jesus’ love.

If you have any ideas on what you would like to learn more about on Sunday mornings, please fill out the Adult Education form at www.stjameslaf.org/adult_survey.htm

New classes will be offered in September!!  Please look here for more information.
