What to Expect

At St. James, we use the hymnal called the Lutheran Service Book for our order of service and hymns. We also print the service for you our guests, so you can easily participate in worship.

If the service you attend is celebrating Holy Communion, we invite you to come to the altar for a blessing. Simply indicate this by crossing your arms across your chest. At St. James, we encourage you to join our information class before taking Holy Communion where you will receive instruction on our beliefs on this sacrament.

Our services are on Saturdays at 6:00 p.m. and Sundays at 9:30 a.m. We also have Wednesday evening services at 6:00 p.m. during Advent and Lent. We live stream Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. as well as the mid-week services. These are available on our YouTube Channel (youtube.com/stjameslutheran) as well as Facebook (@StJamesLutheranChurchAndSchool).
